First message | Link
The first message ever sent in Kencord was by a deleted user, suspected to be Vex's alternate account. While universally the first message is thought to be 'my bad,' followed by a series of messages, the actual first message was by the same deleted user saying '!levels' in the commands channel. The MEE6 bot responded with a link to Kencord's level leaderboard. If you want to get technical, the actual first message was bleed sending a message notifying whoever ran the jail log command that the jail log has been set to the logs channel. This indicates that the first message ever sent has likely been deleted, most likely by jonathan in staff commands.
Most reacted to message | Link
While the most reacted to message is most likely something in the news channel, the most reacted message in chat differs. Although many people may think the first message is also the most reacted to message, this is incorrect. In chat, the most reacted to message was a message by former staff member dznrm. It currently has 67 reactions. The message states "@Staff there is someone in dms scamming people using the advance fee scam dm me so i can send screenshots and @." While this may seem like a normal message, it was sent while many people were in chat and quickly gained 15+ reactions within the minute it was sent. Since many people were replying to it, it was bombarded with attention. The message has gained attention over the months since it was sent and currently has 80+ sob reactions and 60+ skull reactions. As of April 2025, this messages reactions were removed by someone unknown. It is still considered the most reacted to message.
First ban message | Link
The first ban message was likely in staff commands and is long deleted by now, presumably regarding the ban of @benzine1908, as they were the first member to be banned. The first publicly available ban message was initiated by the former staff member @obliquebutterfly on August 22, 2021 at 11:12 AM in the commands channel, with the ban reason listed as 'mentally disabled.' Prior to this, obliquebutterfly and a deleted user had been in an argument. The origins of the tension between them are unknown, though, before the ban, the deleted user pinged obliquebutterfly four times and said 'Come here bitch,' followed by 'Pussy.' obliquebutterfly was then triggered and responded with 'shut the fuck up dawg,' before banning them. After the ban, obliquebutterfly said, 'fucking hell.' Immediately afterward, a prominent member of Kencord, @mrvladstart, said, 'rip bozo, no one cares about you,' which may indicate that the banned user was not liked by the community. Before all this happened, the same deleted user used a Last.fm command with the username 'teenlonely.' This Last.fm username has also been found linked to a different account under the username @cumshotchimaev7328, which seems to be inactive.
